It all started with insects my grandmother would collect from her yard, she would save them and give them to me to pin— which lead to people reaching out to purchase displays I curated with their little bodies; I couldn’t believe it! In 2020 I was no longer able to bartend and ran head first into Properly Grim as a full-time occupation. I started cleaning bones, articulating skeletons, processed damp specimens, did a handful of pet memorials, tooth jewelry, and dabbled in my own form of mummification. Now, most of my time is spent curating for my weekly sales on instagram. I do pop up on occasion at local tattoo venues and other shows!

I have always had an enduring fascination with the intricate complexities of anatomy, the wonders of biology, and the captivating bits of natural history; making Properly Grim the perfect career path for me. If it were not for my loyal little “grimlins” on instagram over the years, I surely would not be where I am today!
